Hi,

Remember, same as everywhere in Las Vegas, 'amenity' fees are NOT in the base price. They ARE on your confirmation email (a bit separate from price, which some customers find confusing).

Unfortunately, we do not control how third parties list prices and they all want to appear cheaper than other third parties.

Pretty much every property in Vegas adds on a $25-$40 amenity fee, per person, per night.

Ours is much lower.

We also lowered our base rates that exact amount, so this is not more money out of your pocket.

Also, as you know hotels authorize your card for about $150 in Las Vegas, then refund this to the card at check-out.

We charge a refundable deposit of $10, per person (refunded to your card at check-out).

And everyone charges city tax of 13.25%.

Lastly, there is a $1 credit card fee per person, but you can pay the balance of your bill in cash at the hostel to avoid this on the remaining balance - cash is cheaper.

This is added to your first night when your card is charged automatically.

I know some cities include everything but tax in the price, and some of you come from countries where tax IS included in the price.

Las Vegas City Tax Code does not allow this, and some guests like to see an itemized bill.

There are some optional add-ons like $1 towel rental, $6 lock for your free lockers (use your own lock if you like), $3 per night for parking.

We are a 2 min walk from 7-11 and Walgreens for cheap food and alcohol, and you CAN bring your own drinks and cook in our free kitchen in the hostel. There are about 9 restaurants you can walk to around us, and the start of the strip (The Stratosphere) is only a 15 min walk from the hostel's front door!

I hope this helps you understand U.S. / Las Vegas pricing and you have an epic experience here!

Bring the social 'you', make some friends with travelers in our social common areas to go out with'!

Join the largest club crawl in Vegas here www.hostelcat.com/activities for drinking games, bars, clubs & strip club

I really hope you'll like our small, social hostel.
